No matter how hard we try, most people suffer from stress, low self-esteem, pessimism, negative emotions, or Imposter Syndrome every now and again. Whether you’re a student, office worker, support staff, middle management or top management, any one (or all) of these modern-day feelings of dis-ease can affect you.

 

Having worked in South Africa and London in law firms and legal departments of banks and media companies for more than 20 years, I’ve seen it all. I’ve also had to deal with these issues myself, so I have first-hand experience of feeling overwhelmed, suffering from Imposter Syndrome and living a life that seemed out of balance and unfulfilling.

 

The good news is there are things you can do to help you cope. In my  wellness training for employees I can share these tools with you and your team as a workshop or webinar. My corporate wellness training include Career Development group coaching sessions and Personal Development talks on a range of subjects.

Personal Development Webinars

My presentations always include fascinating, easy-to-understand science that backs why the practical interventions and exercises I suggest, work. Sessions are made as interactive as possible with real-world examples, video clips, Zoom polls and/or worksheets. The presentations are roughly 1 hour with the flexibility of up to 15 minutes either way which makes it ideal for monthly Lunch & Learn sessions.

Career Development Coaching

If you would like your team and staff to grow and excel within the company, they need to be able to identify the area(s) they wish to change.

 

Over two 1-hour sessions I will show the team how to break their job down into eight parts so that they can see what works well, and what doesn’t. They are then able to identify the area they wish to work on first (for instance managing stress or gaining qualifications). With the help of a visualisation exercise I guide them to identify the first step they need to take to move closer to their goal. In the second session a few weeks later, we reflect on the actions they took and use an affirmation exercise to reaffirm new habits or beliefs that will help them excel on their career development path.

 

Career development group coaching works especially well when done around the yearly or mid-year appraisal / review process, but is equally effective at any other time of the year.
